SEO
UNIT10 treats SEO as three connected disciplines — technical foundations, content that answers real questions, and authority — not a monthly report of vanity metrics.
SEO is infrastructure, not a marketing add-on
A lot of SEO gets sold as a monthly service layered on top of an existing site — link building, blog posts, technical tweaks, delivered somewhat disconnected from how the site itself is built. UNIT10 builds SEO into the site from the foundations: fast page speed, clean semantic HTML, proper structured data, and information architecture designed around how real customers search, not just what looks good in a design mockup.
That foundation matters because no amount of content or link building overcomes a slow, poorly structured site. Get the technical and structural basics right first, and content and authority work actually compounds instead of fighting the site underneath it.
The three pillars we actually work across
Technical SEO (see Technical SEO) covers crawlability, indexation, site speed, structured data and mobile usability — the mechanical layer that determines whether Google can find, understand and trust your pages at all.
Content and on-page SEO means every important page is genuinely built to answer the questions your real customers are searching — not stuffed with keywords, but structured so both users and search engines can quickly understand what the page is about and why it's the right answer.
Local SEO (see Local SEO) matters specifically for businesses with a physical service area — Google Business Profile optimisation, location pages, and the local signals that determine whether you show up in the map pack and local search results for your area.
What we don't do
We don't promise specific rankings — anyone who guarantees a #1 position is either lying or gaming a system that will eventually penalise you for it. We don't build spam location pages, buy low-quality links, or produce thin AI-generated content stuffed with keywords. Google's algorithms are explicitly built to detect and demote exactly that kind of manipulation, and it damages trust with real customers even when it briefly works with search engines.
Frequently asked questions
How long does SEO take to show results?
Meaningful, sustainable ranking improvement typically takes three to six months to become clearly visible, and continues compounding after that. Anyone promising overnight results is either describing paid advertising, not organic SEO, or using tactics that risk a future penalty.
What is technical SEO, and is it different from 'normal' SEO?
Technical SEO covers the mechanical foundations — site speed, crawlability, structured data, mobile usability, secure HTTPS — that determine whether search engines can properly access and understand your site at all. It's not separate from 'normal' SEO so much as the foundation everything else (content, local SEO, authority) is built on top of.
Do you guarantee first-page rankings?
No, and we'd be cautious of anyone who does. Search rankings depend on factors outside any agency's full control, including competitor activity and ongoing algorithm changes. We commit to the work that reliably moves rankings in the right direction, and transparent reporting on what's actually happening.
